Another hard game for the 1s today against a well organised Devonport Services 1s team. Their fast passing and accurate shots on goal caused problems for the Cougars in the first half. The Cougars responded with some great counter attacks but couldn’t get passed the keeper.
The second half saw Kingsbridge tighten their defence and some incredible saves from Jordan Gooch in goal meant no goals were scored in the final 20 minutes of the game.
The final score was 8-0 to Devonport.
Player of the match had to go to Jordan in goal for such a great performance.
