A great performance today by Kingsbridge 1s against Tiverton White Eagles 1s. The Cougars were coached from the side line by Seb Ansley and played a strong first half with good passing play and zonal defending. The first half finished 0:0 but the Cougars had a number of great shots on goal. The warm weather and tired legs slowed things down in the second half and Kingsbridge were unlucky to concede two goals on the counter attack. The final score was 2:0 to Tiverton.

A much improved performance today and the Cougars are looking forward to continuing their excellent team play into next weeks match. Player of the match was captain Fi Readman for her tackling and ball distribution. In second place, only 1 vote behind, was Sacha Denny.
