It was the 2s first game of the season today, after their previous 3 matches were unfortunately cancelled. The Cougars were well organised and started off strong with great passing from all players. At half time it was 0-0 but Kingsbridge were dominating the play.
The second half saw the Cougars patience pay off with two goals scored by Julie Lee. Mannamead had some good counter attacks and pulled a goal back but the final score was 2-1 to Kingsbridge.
Player of the match went to Lauren Speechly for her great movement on the pitch.
Thanks also to our supporters, big and small, who cheered us on!! ?
